About Randy Taplin
Randy was raised in the Northern California coastal town of Eureka, received his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University at Chico and started his working career in the San Francisco Bay area in the early 1980`s. After a 2 year hiatus in South Florida, Randy and his wife decided to make a permanent move to the Pacific Northwest. They moved to Poulsbo in 1988 and immediately fell in love with the beauty, friendly people and outdoor recreational activities available in the Pacific Northwest. They are currently raising two daughters in Poulsbo and couldn`t be happier.
Professionally Speaking
After 19 years working for EDS, a Fortune 500 company in the Information Technology industry, Randy decided to make a career change that allowed him to use his business and follow-up skills as well as satisfy his desire to work with people. Randy obtained his Real Estate License in November of 2002 and joined the Windermere team in December of 2002. Randy has since obtained Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designations and is currently working on completing his Associate Brokers license. Less than 5% of the Real Estate agents nationwide have their CRS designation.

Community Involvement and Interests
Having two teenage daughters that play competitive basketball, Randy is actively coaching girls youth basketball teams in the Poulsbo area. His family enjoys hiking, camping, bowling, attending local high school sporting events, traveling and playing games.
